For Maundy Thursday 2024, we hosted a combined worship service, collaborating with Bostwick Lake UCC and First Congregational Church of Rockford, United Church of Christ. For that service, I wrote a song, which served as the backbone of the worship experience. The idea was to highlight the steps in which a hostess prepares a table for their guests, and then to celebrate communion as three churches together. The result was this song with seven verses, one verse sung after reading the scripture passage for each step. The song is available for purchase on ArrangeMe.
